Course Overview

Ofsted regulates and inspects a range of different provisions including schools and early years settings. This requires Ofsted to carry out regular inspections to evaluate the quality and standards of early years provision in line with the principles and requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Education providers can prepare for Ofsted in numerous ways including securing understanding of the EYFS and building a good understanding of the inspection process as this can make the provider as ready as possible.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

As part of the National Nursery Training Preparing for Ofsted Inspection course you will learn:

  • The key elements of an Ofsted inspection in 2017
  • The impact of the recent changes to the inspection of your childcare setting
  • What you need to know to sustain or improve your current Ofsted rating

CERTIFICATION

Successful candidates will be awarded the National Nursery Preparing for Ofsted Inspection Course Completion Certificate.

Upon Successful completion you will receive a certificate confirming course completion. Accreditation is provided by National Nursery Training. This can be used to provide evidence for compliance and audit. The purpose of this qualification is for the update and continued professional development (CPD).
