Course Overview

Human Trafficking is a crime which is the movement of people by means such as force, fraud, coercion or deception, with the aim of exploiting them. It is a form of modern slavery and there are three elements which all form a part of trafficking, these being: The act, The means & The purpose.

Men, women and children of all ages and from all backgrounds can become victims of this crime, which occurs in every region of the world including in rich countries.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • To know who is likely to become victims of human trafficking
  • To challenge assumptions and misconceptions concerning slavery and human trafficking
