Course Overview

Wellbeing is a combination of positive emotions, engagement, positive relationships, meetings and accomplishments which underpins every aspect of a child’s life. Wellbeing can be broken down into 8 dimensions, they are; psychological, environmental, financial, physical, social, emotional, spiritual and intellectual.

Wellbeing is often linked to mental health and it is important to try and maintain good mental health not just for the child but for all families as this can make the most positive place to live in.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

As part of the National Nursery Training Wellbeing in The Early Years course you will learn:

  • Know what wellbeing is
  • Know what effects wellbeing
  • Know how you can try and support wellbeing within The Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Know why developing a wellbeing is important

CERTIFICATION

Successful candidates will be awarded the National Nursery Training Wellbeing in The Early Years Course Completion Certificate.

Upon Successful completion you will receive a certificate confirming course completion. Accreditation is provided by National Nursery Training. This can be used to provide evidence for compliance and audit. The purpose of this qualification is for the update and continued professional development (CPD).
