The EYFS requires early years providers to promote children’s good oral health. This course gives practitioners practical, evidence-based ways to build oral health into everyday practice and to support families.

- Setting up and running a supervised toothbrushing scheme
- Healthy eating, sugar and drinks that protect teeth
- Working in partnership with parents and health visitors
- Supporting children with additional needs to access oral care
- Signposting families to NHS dental services
On completion learners receive an NFAQ-accredited certificate as evidence for compliance and Ofsted.
