Anaphylaxis is a very rare but severe condition, it affects 1 in 1300 people in England and it can develop within people of all ages, it is slightly more common in females than males. Anaphylaxis is a potentially fatal allergic reaction from something someone is allergic too, such as a food. The reaction can happen within minutes and causes the immune system to go into shock, causing rashes, nausea and breathing problems.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

As part of the National Nursery Training Allergen Awareness course you will learn:

  • The causes and triggers of anaphylaxis
  • Diagnosing anaphylaxis
CERTIFICATION

Successful candidates will be awarded the National Nursery Training Anaphylaxis Course Completion Certificate.

Upon Successful completion you will receive a certificate confirming course completion. Accreditation is provided by National Nursery Training. This can be used to provide evidence for compliance and audit. The purpose of this qualification is for the update and continued professional development (CPD).
