How our online courses work

Every course is written for early years settings and runs online, so learners can study on a phone, tablet or computer and pick up where they left off. Each course ends with a short assessment, and learners receive a certificate as soon as they pass. The one exception is Paediatric First Aid, which is a blended course with a practical classroom day.

Buy individual places with group rates from 3 learners and enrol your staff from your Group Training dashboard, or give everyone access to every online course through the Training Portal for £5 per learner per month.

Frequently asked questions

Are the courses online?

Yes. All courses are online and self-paced apart from Paediatric First Aid, which is blended. Progress saves as you go, so learners can complete a course over several sittings.

Do learners get a certificate?

Yes. A certificate is issued as soon as the learner passes the assessment. National Nursery Training is an NFAQ-accredited training provider.

What happens if a learner doesn’t pass?

They can resit the assessment as many times as they need until they reach the 80% pass mark.

Can I buy courses for my staff?

Yes. Choose the number of learners at checkout and add each learner from your Group Training dashboard. Group rates apply from 3 learners.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The Training Portal free trial gives access to the online course library for 14 days before it continues at the standard subscription price.
